Student Teaching - High School

For my secondary teaching placement, I taught Jewelry Making, Drawing, and Digital Photography to ninth through twelfth grade students. I enjoyed teaching all the classes, but especially appreciated the chance to teach three sections of digital photography because of my background in the subject. I was able to share not just my passion, but also technical knowledge, and fine tune my teaching skills through repetition.

Photography in Motion

After looking at the work of Eadward Muybridge, a pioneer of motion photography, students created their own photographic sequences. Students used Photoshop first to create an image showing all of the steps of their sequence, and then used the software to set the frames back in motion.
